The Design Innovation Centre at IIT Bhubaneswar consists of five chambers (Figure on the right) where students inculcate the culture of innovation. Each chamber consists of three arenas.
We are a squad with 5 chambers, each having 3 arenas:
1. Chamber of 3D’s (Dream, Draw and Design arenas) – The place where an idea takes birth as a virtual product. It consists majorly of the brainstorming work done by budding engineers, faculty members and collaborators.
2. Chamber of Deconstruction (Cut, Measure and Scan arenas) – Spot where products are dissected, quite literally. Reverse engineering is done to improve the present state and find avenues for up-gradation.
3. Chamber of Making (Plastic, Metal and Wood & Clay arenas) – Ideas are expressed in real life moulds.
4. Chamber of Life (Sense, Actuate and Control arenas) – Enlivening the moulds coming out of Chamber of making. Products start responding to their surroundings.
5. Chamber of Trumpets (Ad, Package and Market arenas) – Products gets all ready to show off and sell themselves.
We take the time to understand your project goals, business objectives, competitors and customers, your brand and your style.
Design options are explored, crafted, and finessed until visual balance in conjunction with the content, is achieved.
Hard work, smart coding and problem solving are all put into action, and reveal the final form. Functionality, and testing across screens and devices ensures a high quality design.
