• The candidates are required to apply through ONLINE process only accessing the website http://webapps.iitbbs.ac.in/mtech-application/.

  Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before starting the online application process.

• Candidates applying for more than one discipline have to submit separate online application(s) for each discipline along with requisite application fee as applicable. There is no need to send the hard-copy of the application form. However, the candidates are advised to keep a hardcopy (print out) of the submitted application form for future reference.
• Candidates, whose qualifying examination results and certificates are not available, are required to provide Provisional Certificate to that effect from the concerned Institution.
• Candidates who are presently employed are required to upload the following certificate(s) as part of the online application processes, failing which their application will not be entertained.
  
  1. No Objection Certificate (In case of Sponsored Candidate).
• The Institute reserves the right to call a limited number of candidates for Written Test and/or Interview.
• No TA/DA and accommodation shall be provided to the candidates for attending the written test and/or interview.
• Incomplete application/ application without relevant supporting documents and requisite application fee (as applicable) shall be outrightly rejected and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of shortlisting/selection/interview.
• The Institute reserves the right to withdraw the admission at any stage in case a candidate does not possess the requisite qualification and/or percentage of marks in qualifying degree or supplies any false information.
• In case of any inadvertent error in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage of admission, the Institute reserves the right to withdraw/cancel/modify any communication made to the candidates.
• Please note that all information related to admission will be available in the Institute website www.iitbbs.ac.in and all communications will be made through E-MAIL only.
• Candidates are required to fill all the fields in the application form with specific and valid data. Please ensure that information provided is accurate as no change is allowed after submission of application.
• The enclosures to be uploaded as part of the application processes are:
  1. Photo in JPG format with dimension of 200×250 pixels and less than 100Kb.
  2. Signature in JPG format with dimension of 200×50 pixels and less than 80Kb.
  3. Mark/grade sheets, certificates and documents starting from Matriculation till highest degree attained.
  4. Please upload any other relevant documents & certificates related to educational and professional experience.
  5. No Objection Certificate (In case of Sponsored)
  6. Release certificate from the present employer (If currently employed)
  7. Updated Curriculum Vitae.
  
• The documents/certificates must be uploaded in PDF format (No other format is accepted).
• The maximum size per uploaded file cannot exceed 200 Kb. If required, split a larger document into multiple parts and clearly name the documents such as CV_part1of3.pdf, CV_part2of3.pdf, CV_part3of3.pdf.
• After submission of your application at this portal you can use your registered Email ID and Password to login at the IIT Bhubaneswar M.Tech. Application Portal at http://webapps.iitbbs.ac.in/mtech-application/
• The portal will enable you to print the application form and view status of the application.
• After successful submission of your application online, your application number will be displayed. Please make a note of the same and include this number in all future communications. The number will also be available in your User Page.
• If you are currently employed in Government Organizations or Public Sector Undertakings, the hard-copy of your application needs to be forwarded by the employer at the time of written test/Interview.
