Summer Research Internship for Faculty (SRIF)

The Summer Research Internship for Faculty (SRIF) at IIT Bhubaneswar is a unique opportunity for faculty members from various institutes to gain research exposure under the mentorship of faculty members of IIT Bhubaneswar. This 04–06 week program (May–July) aims to equip aspiring researchers with hands-on experience, fostering their journey toward higher studies and advanced research.

• Tenure: The duration of the internship shall be 04-06 weeks during the Summer Vacations of IIT Bhubaneswar.
• Eligibility:
  • Regular faculty with M. Tech degree planning for PhD at IIT Bhubaneswar
    OR
  • Those with a PhD within five years of award of degree.
• Application Fee: ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only.) (Non - Refundable)
• Accommodation: (Chargeable Basis: Approx. Rs. 4500/- (Accommodation) + Rs. 6000 (Food) Per Month)
• Mode of carrying out the Internship: Through interaction with Faculty Member in offline mode only.
• Online Application Procedure:
  1. First complete the registration process
  2. Make the fee payment through the payment gateway.
  3. Use the fee payment reference number and complete the application procedure.
• Mandatory Attachments:
  • Photograph: Recent Passport size photograph must be in JPG format with dimension of 200×260 px and size of less than 100kb.
  • Signature: Must be in JPG format with dimension of 300×60 px and size of less than 100kb.
  • Highest Qualification Certificate: Must be in PDF format (size of less than 200kb).
  • No Objection Certificate: Must be in in PDF format (size of less than 200kb)
  • Fee Payment Receipt: Must be in in PDF format (size of less than 200kb)
