Summer Research Internship for Faculty (SRIF)

The Summer Research Internship for Faculty (SRIF) at IIT Bhubaneswar is a unique opportunity for faculty members from various institutes to gain research exposure under the mentorship of faculty members of IIT Bhubaneswar. This 04-06 week program (May-July) aims to equip aspiring researchers with hands-on experience, fostering their journey toward higher studies and advanced research.

• Tenure: The duration of the internship shall be 04-06 weeks during the Summer Vacations of IIT Bhubaneswar.
• Eligibility:
  • Regular faculty with M. Tech degree planning for PhD at IIT Bhubaneswar
    OR
  • Those with a PhD within five years of the award of the degree.
• Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only.) (Non - Refundable)
• Accommodation: (Chargeable Basis: Approx. Rs. 3500/- (Accommodation) per month+ Rs. 130/-(Food) Per day)
• Mode of carrying out the Internship: Through interaction with a Faculty Member in offline mode only.

  3. Use the fee payment reference number and complete the application procedure.
• Mandatory Attachments:
  • Photograph: Recent Passport size photograph must be in JPG format with dimensions of 200 x 260 px and size of less than 100kb.
  • Signature: Must be in JPG format with dimension of 300×60 px and size of less than 100kb.
  • Highest Qualification Certificate: Must be in PDF format (size of less than 200kb).
  • No Objection Certificate/Valid ID Proof: Must be in PDF format (size of less than 200kb)
  • Fee Payment Receipt: Must be in PDF format (size of less than 200kb)
